As we approach the end of this current term. There are a few things we would like to bring to your attention.
Below the costs are noted for next term. The cost for the next 12 week course is as follows:
1 child £126.00
2 children £252.00
3 children £378.00 less 15% discount (£56.70) = £321.30
Zara will be going on maternity leave from January and return in September. During that time her teaching will be covered by Noeleen on a Saturday assisted by Leila. Shannon will cover the lessons on Monday and Tuesday assisted by Sophia and Leila.
The new term will be as follows
W/c Saturday 11th – Wednesday 15th January to w/c Saturday 29th March/ Wednesday 2nd April.
We will run as usual through half term w/c Monday 17th February and the weekends on either side.
On Saturday 23rd of November 11am – 2pm our charity is running a Christmas fete to help raise funds. There will be face painting and make your own Christmas tree decorations. Along with games, a tombola stall, and many others. Takeaway coffee also available. Please do support and come along if you can.
As the colder months start to come upon us, may we please respectfully remind you that you should not leave your car engine idling in the car park directly outside the pool. Most of our pupils will need to walk through the car park, and a significant number of parents have expressed their concern over this issue. May we please ask you to be considerate over this matter.
We understand that events and situations arise each week that may make pupils late for a lesson, but can we please ask that you try to ensure you have enough time to get to the pool on time. Pupils missing the start of their lesson is extremely detrimental to their progress. They miss the warm-up and explanations as to the class content. Late arrivals also disrupt the rest of the class.
No food should be consumed on the premises, including the changing rooms. Can we please ask that all food be left until you reach the car. This is in the interest of hygiene.
Can we please again reiterate that when we allocate a space for your child for the next term, it is your responsibility to get them to the lesson. Fortunately for us our lessons are very popular and each enrolment time we have trouble placing pupils in classes, we therefore have very little flexibility on being able to offer a make up class if a pupil cannot attend their allocated day/time. We will not overfill other classes to accommodate pupils who have been unable to attend their current class time.
Please be aware when you book a class that you are committed to that day and time for the following term.
Over the next couple of weeks, all pupils will be working towards awards available within the level of their class. If you wish to purchase certificates, then please go to the desk (after enrolment week), and we can order them for you. Certificates do have to be paid for in advance as we print them. The cost of a badge and certificate is £3.50.
First watching week w/c Sat. 1st – Wednesday 5th February.
Second watching week w/c Saturday 22nd – Wednesday 26th February.
Please check the website for up to date information, including term dates, a copy of the newsletter, and a list of all pupils who received the certificate of achievement from each class.
The last week of term is fun week, and your child may come along to any of the sessions listed below on the half hour. No pupil will be able to join in midway between sessions. We adhere to a maximum bather load of 35 pupils. When this is reached, any pupil that arrives after will be asked to wait until the next session (this doesn’t happen very often).
Please note that the earliest times tend to be the busiest.
The times are as follows:
Sat 7th Dec. 1st session 9am last session 10.30am
Sun 8th Dec. 1st session 9am last session 9.30am
Mon 9th Dec. 1st session 5pm last session 6.30pm
Tues 10th Dec. 1st session 5pm last session 6pm
Wed 11th Dec. 1st session 5pm last session 6.30pm.
May I take this opportunity on behalf of all the staff to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a wonderful new year. We look forward to seeing you next term.
Best wishes
Anne
